Architecture Admissions in Kerala
KEAM-Kerala Engineering Agriculture Medical Entrance Examination 2016, is an entrance examination conducted by CEE - Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations for Medical, Agriculture, Engineering, Fisheries, Veterinary and Architecture courses. Admission to first year of B.Arch Course through KEAM:
No Separate Entrance Test is conducted for admission to B.Arch course by CEE. The merit is determined by providing equal weightage to marks scored in NATA & Std. XII or equivalent qualifying examination. Only Indian Nationals can apply through KEAM. However, the others are eligible for Management and NRI quota.
- Candidate shall have passed Class XII or equivalent examination from a recognized board with Mathematics as one of the subjects
OR
10+3 Diploma, any stream, recognized by Central / State Governments with 50% aggregate marks.
OR
International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling, with at least 50% aggregate marks with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
*( 45% for SC / ST / SEBC category )
- Candidate shall have scored at least 80 / 200 in Nata Exam.
- Candidates shall have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December 2016. There is no upper age limit for KEAM-2016.
KEAM 2016: Online Registration
Online registration process for admissions for first year of Bachelor of Architecture Courses in Kerala State through the website www.cee.kerela.gov.in are open from 2nd January 2016 to 29th January 2016 for the government category. The admission process for management quota is carried out by each college separately.
For Admissions through merit, candidates must appear for NATA adequately before 5.6.2016.

The rank list will be prepared considering an aggregate, with equal weightage to NATA and the qualifying exam as per the rules and conditions of COA. The rank list will be published soon after 5.6.2016. The rank list will be posted on www.cee-kerala.org as and when it is prepared.
The rank list would be valid till 15.8.2016.
Centralized Allotment Process – CAP 2016
The Admissions shall be carried out via CAP 2016, through Single Window System (SWS) – known as ‘Allotments through Online Submission of Options’. The candidates who have their names on the KEAM-2016 Merit List must choose the colleges-course combination according to their priority. Through CAP, the options are registered in a very simple and transparent manner, wherein the admissions are awarded strictly on the basis of merit. The candidate must only mention the colleges which they would want to join on allotment.
Registration of Options:
The candidate must register college options based on priority only through www.cee.kerala.gov.in The registrations must be done through ‘Candidate Portal’ on the website, within the specified time schedule provided by CEE. A list of colleges and the courses would be available on the home page and the candidate must choose from amongst them their priority. “AR” is the code for Architecture. Upon entering the code, all the colleges offering the course would be listed below.
