NID 2016 Cut Off Marks for Design Aptitude Test
Hello Friends,
In a Welcome move, NID, for the very first time has released Design Aptitude Test 2016 cut off scores for NID B.Design Programme, NID GDPD Vijayawada and all the 19 Disciplines for NID M.Design.
From 2016, NID has changed the pattern of DAT – Design Aptitude Test, with Part A consisting of 70 % MCQ’s and Part B of 30% subjective questions.
While cut – off score for NID B.Design ( Gen. Category ) is 59.65 , for NID GDPD Vijayawada ( Gen. Category ) is 57.70, it varied a lot for NID M.Design ( Gen. Category ), with highest cut – off for Product Design Course at 64.90 and lowest for Toy Design & Game Design Course at 48.60. The cut – off scores were provided for 8 categories: General, General – PH, OBC – NCL, OBC – NCL – PH, SC, SC – PH, ST and ST – PH. While ST – PH category saw no Applicants across all Programmes and Disciplines, SC-PH category had only one applicant in M.Design Programme. Overall the highest cut – off score was for NID M.Design Product Design Discipline ( Gen. Category ) at 64.90 and the lowest cut – off score was for NID M.Design Ceramic & Glass Design Discipline at 18.20 ( OBC-NCL Category )
