ELIGIBILITY FOR CEPT ENTRANCE EXAM 2017

Cept Entrance Exams are held in the month of June - July every year. The admission process for CEPT 2017 will start in the month of May - June. The official notification for Cept entrance 2017 is still awaited. The information for CEPT Eligibility according to last years notification are as follows:

CEPT Bachelor Of Building Science & Technology
Candidates who have passed HSC (10+2) examination of Gujarat State or equivalent examination( CBSE / CISCE / NIOS / ISB / IB ) in Science stream with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer as optional subject, having a minimum aggregate score of 50% for all subjects for general category and 45% for SEBC/SC/ST category.

CEPT Bachelor Of Interior Design
Candidates who have passed HSC (10+2) examination of Gujarat State or equivalent examination( CBSE / CISCE / NIOS / ISB / IB ) in Science stream with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer as optional subject, having a minimum aggregate score of 50% for all subjects for general category and 45% for SEBC/SC/ST candidates.

CEPT Bachelor Of Architecture

Candidates who have passed HSC (10+2) examination or equivalent examination( CBSE / CISCE / NIOS / ISB / IB ) with Mathematics or Statistics or Business Mathematics as one of the subjects, having a minimum aggregate score of 50% for all subjects for general category and 45% for SEBC/SC/ST candidates.

                  OR

Candidates who have passed Diploma (10+3) pattern of any stream from Technical Examination Board of Gujarat or other State or from a University etablished under Section 3 of UGC Act 1956 , having a minimum aggregate score of 50%


The candidate also has to score at least 40% marks in National Aptitude Test in Architecture ( NATA ) to be eligible for admission.Click About Nata for details on Nata Exams.

CEPT Bachelor of Urban Design
Candidates who have passed HSC (10+2) examination of Gujarat State or equivalent examination( CBSE / CISCE / NIOS / ISB / IB ) in any stream, having a minimum aggregate score of 50% for all subjects for general category and 45% for SEBC/SC/ST category.

                     OR

Candidates who have passed Diploma (10+3) pattern of any stream from Technical Examination Board of Gujarat or other State or from a University etablished under Section 3 of UGC Act 1956 , having a minimum aggregate score of 50%
