10 Useful Tips to Crack CEPT Entrance Test 

 

Tip No. 1 - It is very essential for CEPT Aspirants to be familiar with the syllabus & paper pattern for the entrance exams. For Example, there are four major sections in the CEPT SBST EXAM: Analytical & Logical Ability, English, Drawing Ability & Construction Awareness.

Tip No. 2 - Go through all original previous years papers of CEPT. Solve them in the given time limit, analyze your mistakes & be aware of your strong points.

Tip No. 3 - Though CEPT SBST & CEPT Urban Design are standard 3 hour duration paper, CEPT SID is for longer duration. Be prepared for the amount of time you have to devote for the exam.

Tip No. 4 - For CEPT SBST, pay more attention to building your Logical & Analytical Aptitude, but for CEPT SID creative aptitude is desired.

Tip No. 5 - CEPT exams are normally held in June - July every year. After the boards, students still have around 3 months for preparation. Usually students join a crash course at a good coaching class, its always better to start early: after class 10th or class 11th: helps to build a good foundation for the student.

Tip No. 6 - Meet Interior Designers / Town Planners / Civil Engineers in real time, for your chosen course respectively. Talk about their works, their journey's, their struggles etc. It will lend you a more clear & mature perspective about your career choice.
