NID Animation Film Design 2017

 

NID offers 2-1/2 year long Master of Design ( M.Des.) programme and 4 year long Bachelor of Design ( B.Des.) programme in Animation Film Design Discipline at Ahmedabad campus. In the early part of the first semester, students are taught basics of design before they are introduced to animation design. Later semesters deal with workshop and project mode of learning experimenting with various mediums like 2D, 3D, Clay, Mixed Media, Pixilation and Graphic Narratives. Also Interactive sessions like Case Studies, Field Visits, Action Analysis, Nid Film Club and other interactive sessions provide a value added experience. Graduating students find career oppurtunities in organisations like Channel [V], MTV, Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, Tata Interactive, Infosys, Cognizant etc. as creative directors, producers, consultants and designers.
