NID Placement Package 2022

NID organises a centralized Industry Interface biannually for all the three campuses, where prospective employer and students can interact with each other.

Also the employer can identify suitable candidates for full-time employment and sponsoring graduation project in their organisation.

In 2021-22, NID hosted more than 200 companies from the areas of Electronics, Home Appliances, Medical Devices/Healthcare, FMGC, Textile & Craft Sectors, Apparel & Lifestyle, Lifestyle Retail, IT Design, Experience Design, Virtual Reality, Research, E-Commerce, Transportation & Automotive Sector, Furniture, Interior & Lifestyle Accessory sectors, Space & Events, Fintech, Education Sector, Film & Media Sector, and Animation Industry.

NID Placement Package 2021

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Industry Interface 2021 was organised online from January 25-29, 2021 for the students across the three campuses of NID.

This event was for students who were eligible for both graduation projects and full-time recruitment.

The event hosted more than 100 companies, with 67 registered companies on-campus and 40 companies off-campus.

There was a significant increase of around 50% in the number of new companies visiting the campus.

NID Placement Cell

Placement Office provides strategic platform to synergize and facilitate interaction between academia and industry with an idea to provide exposure to NID Students, creating opportunities for students’ project-based learning like graduation projects, industrial training, classroom projects and live projects.

NID organises Industry Interface annually to provide a meeting ground where the prospective employer and students can meet and employer can identify suitable candidates for recruitment in their organization.

This event also creates awareness among the industries / firms / studios/ NGOs. / Govt. Sector / MSMEs about NID and its various modes of operations.

Students are encouraged to pursue opportunities in areas such as social communication, service sectors, technology enhanced learning, Craft Design, Green Design, Universal Design, and Experiential Design.

The quality of education received by NID graduates has contributed to their success at various levels across diverse segments of the economy; their works and ideas have been duly acknowledged nationally and internationally.
