Architecture Admissions in IITs: B.Arch in IIT Kharagpur or IIT Roorkee

AAT – Architecture Aptitude Test is an entrance test conducted by IIT for admission to 5 year B.Arch course at IIT Kharagpur and IIT Roorkee. Candidates who qualify JEE Advanced 2018 are eligible to appear in AAT 2018.

This implies that a candidate desirous of taking admission in 5 year B.Arch programme at IIT need to clear three entrance exams: JEE Mains , JEE Advanced and AAT.

AAT 2018 will be conducted at the 7 zonal IITs on 14th June 2018 at 9:00 am to 12 pm. The entrance test consists of one paper of three hour duration. The registration for AAT 2018 starts on 10th June 2018 at 10 am and closes on 11th June 2018 at 5 pm.

Candidates must register online at the JEE (Advanced) 2018 online portal for AAT. The original admit card of JEE Advanced 2018 should be produced in AAT examination hall as no separate admit card is issued. AAT results will be declared on 18th June and only those candidates who secure marks above the cut-off will be declared PASS in the test. There is no separate ranking in the AAT. There is no separate cut-off for students of any category. Allotment of seat will be solely based on the category-wise All India Rank in the JEE (Advanced) 2018. The cut-off marks for passing AAT is decided by Joint Implementation Committee of JEE Advanced 2018. Results of AAT will be declared on the JEE Advanced 2018 online portal.
