NATA COACHING

As you have landed on this page, you are probably searching for a good NATA coaching institute, must have visited quite a few sites, making comparisons. But lets first consider an important question:

Do you really need classroom coaching for cracking Architecture Entrance. Think Again!

Yes, you read it right!

A few years back, Mosaic Institute has stopped offering Classroom Coaching for NATA entrance. We took this drastic step after a lot of consideration. We would like to share with you the reason why classroom coaching for NATA is not required.

WHY NO TO TRADITIONAL CLASSROOM COACHING?

Aptitude: Lets get the facts straight. Thousands appear for NATA exam every year. But everyone does not score high enough for top colleges. Why?

Contrary to the claims of many renowned classes, everyone who opts for classroom coaching doesn’t make it to the best of colleges. The main reason behind this is lack of aptitude.

Developing your aptitude is a very personal process and requires discipline and dedication. It should probably start at a young age. Classroom Coaching cannot inculcate talent or aptitude in a student. It is something that a student naturally has. It can only be enhanced with the help of some experimental techniques.

Pattern Changes: NATA exam pattern is not like medical or engineering entrance. As soon as the students get comfortable with paper style, the examiners change it again.

Individual Thinking: It is observed that students who attend NATA classroom coaching develop preconceived notions as to how to answer a particular question and start pre-preparing for the answers if a similar question comes up. This promotes stereotype thinking & kills genuine thinking. Also the problem is that the examiners come to know when the answers are prepared beforehand. They are looking for students who can come up with unique answers in a limited amount of time.

Drawing Skills: Sketching skills, like any other skill set can be learnt. Numerous books are available in the market to improve your skills.

Lack of Time: Maximum Students opt for NATA Coaching in Standard XI or XII and end up paying high fees. Juggling between school and tutions, it becomes difficult to focus on NATA preparations. Long hours of attending classes is very tiring for students. Also when exam time is near, there is unnecessary pressure by the parents on the student to perform well. This uncalled tension kills creativity.

High Fees: Any reputed institute is charging anywhere between Rs. 30,000 – Rs. 40,000 for one year preparations. For two years, it is even more. Rather than spending this much money on classroom coaching, NATA study material or books are a good option as they cost around one-tenth of the cost of the tutions.

Regularity: Don’t join a coaching class to be regular and disciplined in your practice. Because if you are not dedicated enough in your self-study, joining classes won’t help much.

NATA Videos

According to American educator Edgar Dale: We remember 10% of what we read, 20% of what we hear, 30% of what we see & 50% of what we hear and see. The above study clearly shows the remarkable effect watching videos can have on your entrance preparations. The logic behind is that videos stimulate more senses than reading words from a textbook. Watching videos makes learning simple & also makes it easier to recall difficult process.

Boredom tends to set in with conventional teaching methods. Watching videos can refresh you as they make learning more interesting. While attending classroom coaching, the candidates performance majorly depends on how qualified the teacher is. Whereas the videos are prepared by a team of experts backed by 12 years of MOSAIC experience.
