NATA 2018 MAJOR CHANGES

 

From the year 2018, Council of Architecture has decided to conduct Nata as a one day examination all over the country. Nata exam will comprise of two parts: 

  • Part A consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) to be answered online - This will comprise of 20 questions of Mathematics, weighing 40 marks and 40 questions of General Aptitude weighing 80 marks. This equals to a total of 120 marks. All MCQ questions carry 2 marks each. There is no negative marking. Candidates will get 90 minutes to attempt Part A. One of the conditions to qualify Nata 2018 consists of securing a minimum of 30 marks out of 120 in the MCQ section. You can get detailed syllabus for Nata 2018 here. 
  • Part B is a paper based Drawing Test - This test will consist of two questions on drawing, to be attempted on A4 size paper. Candidates will be provided 90 minutes to attempt this section which will comprise of 80 marks. One of the conditions to qualify Nata 2018 consists of securing a minimum of 20 marks out of 80 in the drawing section.

NATA ONLINE TEST

One of the major changes in Nata 2018 is the introduction of Nata Online Test for Part A. Nata 2017 Question Paper was a pen & paper based offline exam. In order to familiarize Nata Aspirants, with the pattern,timing etc of the test, Mosaic has come out with Nata Free Online Mock Test. You can click on the video below to have a glimpse of the test. Candidates desirous of attempting the test need to Sign Up first and then Login with their registered e-mail & password. Each Multiple Choice Question carries 2 marks. There is no negative marking. After selecting one of the options, the candidate must click the submit button to move on to the next question. After successfully attempting the online test, the candidate can access his or her results, marks obtained and the answer key for the particular test.
