If you are preparing for entrance to National Institute Of Design, this word of advice is for you.
Though good drawing skills are important for cracking the exams, it is not the only criteria of judgement.
Your creativity & awareness about design also matters.
Try & create your own drawings & designs.
Show your Individuality.
Appreciate other people's work of Art but Don't Copy.
The examiners know when the answer is prepared from before.
Be original, and stick to your style, maybe others find it weird, you can take their feedback and improve but don't judge your style on other's opinion.
Try & take inspiration from things around you.

Their works are considered prized possessions and are famous all over the world.

Develop your observation skills.
Stay updated on current affairs.
Read books, magazines, newspapers – It helps !
