Q1. Students are supposed to do some doodle drawings – 12 frames are provided. Some random lines are provided in the frames. Students are supposed to complete the frames & provide captions

Q2. You have to make a holder which can hold 3 cups at a time in such a manner that it starts from point A to B ( No Adhesive to be used ) TIME : 45 MIN

Q2. You have to make a C.D. box which can hold 10 C.D.’s TIME : 45 MIN

Q3. Make a matchbox with matchsticks ( one-third open position )The moulded matchbox should be twice the dimension of actual matchbox. A printout with the matchbox picture is provided. TIME : 45 MIN

1 (a) A black & white check pattern is shown on the screen for approx. 3 seconds. You have to replicate the same in the empty grid provided to you. You are provided a minute to complete the grid

- You have to carve a momento out of a 10 X 10 cm cube of polyurethane material. The carving must depict the theme “50 years of NID” It must include NID Logo in proper proportion.
- Make any one of the following:
The bottle hanging arrangement found in the Indian Railways Coach.
The top door locking mechanism found in the door of Wagons.

- Create a flip book – a man climbing the stairs
- Audio Visual Round – Video clips are shown of black and white movies. Based on the clips shown memory based questions were asked.
Studio Test – 2014

Q1. Students are supposed to do some doodle drawings – 12 frames are provided. Some random lines are provided in the frames. Students are supposed to complete the frames & provide captions. (45 min)
- Make a model on following topic (45 min)

- A movie clip on Charlie Chaplin was shown for approximately 2 minutes. Then the students were supposed to answer 5 questions based on it.
- A particular scene was shown
- Students have to answer what happens after the particular scene
- How many times does Charli Chaplin kick the small Child?
- When Charli Chaplin is applying putty to fix the glass on the window. How many times does he apply putty on the window?
- A paper was provided with a chessboard kind of pattern. You have to draw the mirror image.
- Image of Hexagon ? image of Decagon
- You have to make a half eaten corn in terracotta clay.
