National Institute of Design, Madhya Pradesh (NID MP) is an autonomous institute under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.

The Institute had commenced academic activities from the year 2019-20.

NID MP was declared as an Institute of National Importance after the President gave assent to National Institute of Design (Amendment) Act 2019.

NID Bhopal Courses

National Institute of Design in MP offers full time 4 year Bachelor's Programme in Design (B Des) with specialization streams of Industrial Design, Communication Design and Textile & Apparel Design with a multi-disciplinary approach to design education.

Number of seats for Indian Nationals in the B Des programme including reserved categories are 75.

Number of Seats for International Students in B Des programme are 11.

NID Bhopal, MP Admission 2024

National Institute of Design MP application process has started on 8th September, 2023 and ends on December 1st, 2023. Apply Here

Admission at NID MP will be based on the common Design Aptitude Test (DAT).

NID DAT is conducted in two stages: NID DAT Prelims and NID DAT Mains.

NID DAT Prelims is a pen/pencil & paper based test & will be held on December 24th, 2023.
